Eva’s Retreat is a spiritual retreat and healing sanctuary in West Wales, close to Aberystwyth, offering a peaceful space to reconnect with nature, spirit, and self.
The idea of Eva’s Retreat was inspired by Spirit in Autumn 2011, although looking back, Jill had long felt that she would eventually run a retreat. After teaching Reiki and Spiritual Development Workshops from her home, Jill knew her work was meant to expand, students so enjoyed their time with Spirit, they never wanted to leave!
Eva’s Retreat began in January 2012 in Dorset as a tribute to Jill’s beloved Mum, Eva – the main source of her inspiration – and relocated to Ceredigion, West Wales in February 2017.
Set within six acres of tranquil land, Eva’s Retreat is a sanctuary for those in need of rest, renewal, and connection. I share my space with my wonderful dogs, Maya and Eve, my two donkeys Osian and Dewi, and the wild animals who help bring healing through nature and our deep connection with Mother Earth.
The name Eva means “Breath of Life”, and it is my heartfelt wish to bring that breath of life into Spirituality, Humanity, and our relationship with Nature.
To be part of the solution to our upside-down world… and to help people and animals rediscover the Joy, Peace, and Love within their lives once more.
I firmly believe that connecting with people, animals, and spirit is a joy, and that serving Spirit is a privilege. I approach both with a grounded blend of humility, humour, and (above all) deep respect.
I live in Freedom and encourage others to do the same.

My Aim
My aim is to provide high-quality workshops, events, and training courses in Spirituality, Mediumship, Reiki, and Life Skills at an affordable price, especially for those living in Wales.
Mindful that travelling and accommodation can be costly, I offer a nurturing and intimate teaching environment with a maximum of 10 students, ensuring each person feels supported and seen.
Eva’s Retreat is a charming 18th-century cottage with original features including window seats, wooden beams, a bread oven, and a log burner. I also have a ramp for disabled access and a downstairs disabled toilet.
Nestled in a secluded yet accessible location, Eva’s Retreat offers stunning views across the countryside and out towards the sea and Cardigan Bay. You’re welcome to spend time in the Peace Garden, walk the land, or connect with nature – including red kites, wild rabbits, swallows, butterflies, bees, and the gentle stream that flows from the garden to the sea.
